As a child, Harout Markarian, current owner of Gold ‘N I Jewelers, had a passion for learning and would spend time after school with his father at the family store. At the age of nine, Harout began to play with his father’s tools, sweep floors, and arrange gold dust. By the age of 13, his father was amazed that he was already soldering, sizing, and creating designs. Now, Harout has been running his father’s business and has kept everything they do in-house. His father is a master craftsmen with more than 50 years of experience, so he was able to teach Harout everything he knew about the jewelry industry. Not only did he show him creation, design, and quality of work, but he taught him workmanship, customer service, the importance of a sense of humor, and to love what you do. Making clients happy is something that the Gold ‘N I Jewelers team cherish deeply.
